Start-up Visa
Currently Paused
The Canada Start-Up Visa Program is currently paused by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). As a result of this federal decision, Innovate Niagara is not accepting new Start-Up Visa applications at this time.
IRCC has paused new intake to manage processing capacity and program demand. Applications can only be submitted under specific conditions set directly by IRCC. Innovate Niagara cannot provide exceptions or accept new candidates while the program remains paused.
For the most accurate, up-to-date, and official information, applicants are strongly encouraged to consult the IRCC website directly:
https://www.canada.ca/immigration
This page will be updated once IRCC announces changes, reopens the Start-Up Visa Program, or introduces a new entrepreneur or innovation pathway.
