Funding Technology Adoption Across Niagara
Helping Niagara Organizations Innovate, Modernize, and Grow
The Niagara Technology Grants Fund (NTGF) is a new pilot funding program delivered through a partnership between Venture Niagara and Innovate Niagara.
The program is designed to help Niagara-based businesses and not-for-profit organizations adopt technology solutions that improve productivity, enhance service delivery, strengthen competitiveness, and contribute to economic growth across the region.
With a total funding pool of $50,000, eligible applicants can receive grants of up to $5,000 per project to support technology adoption, implementation, and modernization initiatives.
Funding Available
Up to $5,000 Per Project
Successful applicants may receive:- Up to $5,000 in grant funding
- 75% of funding released upon signing the Funding Agreement
- Remaining 25% released upon project completion and final reporting
Matching Contribution Required
Applicants must provide a minimum 1:1 cash contribution equal to the grant amount requested.
Example:
Grant Request: $5,000
Applicant Contribution: $5,000
Total Project Value: $10,000+
Who Can Apply?
BusinessesEligible businesses must:
- Be located within Venture Niagara's service area
- Be a sole proprietorship, partnership, or incorporated company
- Have fewer than 25 employees
- Be in good financial standing
- Have been operating for at minimum one full year
Please note: Subsidiaries, franchises, and locations of national or international chains are not eligible.
Not-for-Profit Organizations
Eligible organizations must:

Be located within Venture Niagara's service area

Deliver programs or services benefiting Niagara residents, businesses, or communities
Important Program Dates
How does this program work?
- Applications Open: August 4, 2026
- Information Session: August 12, 2026 | 12:00 PM
- Applications Closes: September 7, 2026
- Projects Begin: Approximately September 15, 2026
- Project Completion Deadline: February 15, 2027
